Sainte-Victoire and Aix-en-Provence at Your Doorstep<\/h2>\n

From Belv\u00e9d\u00e8re, you are ideally located between the two treasures of the Aix region. To the east, the western side of Sainte-Victoire and some of the most beautiful trails in Provence. To the west, the historic center of Aix-en-Provence, with its fountains and old streets. Just a few minutes by car, and sometimes even on foot, are enough to reach the trailheads.<\/p>\n

The route is accessible to everyone: flat terrain, entirely urban, with Aix-style cobblestones and wide sidewalks. Ideal for a half-day outing, it pairs perfectly with lunch on a terrace in Aix. Art lovers can easily extend the experience with a visit to the Mus\u00e9e Granet or the H\u00f4tel de Caumont, both located along the route.<\/p>\n

Starting from the Tourist Office makes parking easy and ensures clear route markings.<\/p>\n

Perfect at the beginning or end of a stay at Le Belv\u00e9d\u00e8re, this loop is also very well suited to families with young children or occasional walkers. Flat, urban, and largely shaded, the route remains enjoyable even in warm weather.<\/p>\n

Points of Interest:<\/strong> The Tourist Office and Cours Mirabeau, C\u00e9zanne\u2019s Studio, the Mazarin district, the iconic fountains, and the private mansions of the 17th and 18th centuries.<\/p>\n

Following the course of the Torse River upstream, the route alternates between peaceful residential neighborhoods, a leafy municipal park, and natural areas on the edge of the city center. Half urban, half natural, the itinerary reveals lesser-known ruins and offers a few unexpected views over Aix and its surroundings.<\/p>\n

Starting from Parc de la Torse lets you begin the walk in the cool shade of tall trees before heading up toward the hillsides. The elevation gain remains moderate, but adds pleasant variety to the route, giving this loop a slightly more active feel than the previous two while still remaining accessible.<\/p>\n

This is the itinerary we recommend to guests who want to experience Aix differently, away from the classic tourist routes.<\/p>\n

Points of Interest:<\/strong> Parc de la Torse, the course of the Torse River and its pools, the lesser known ruins mentioned by Visorando, and views over the city from the eastern hillsides.<\/p>\n

What to Bring:<\/strong> Closed shoes, as some sections follow dirt paths, water, about 1 liter, and suitable clothing. The route can be done all year, and is especially pleasant in spring and fall. Avoid it during heavy rain, as the riverside path may become muddy.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n
